Scotch has a flavour
So we finally got some snow this week and I was quick enough to get out there with the, er, camera phone, sorry, and get these snaps just a few minutes' walk from Embra's city centre. Enjoy.
Let rip by
Nice pictures, Mr F!
Thank you, Sir B!
I can never work these ones out.
Very scenic. Snow looks nice in pictures, but I'd sooner not deal with it in reality.
Nicely done! And with a camera phone, too...
Hmm, looks like the botanical gardens... Tres posh!
Snow-- my Grandma tells stories about it.
There's a UFO in the last one!I've always suspected the governement had been lying to us all along.
IBM - You need to sort of uncross your eyes and stand on your head...Liz - I love the reality of snow. Especially the après-ski.#Debi - And you can hardly see where I painted out the path and the second lantern.Taffeta - Got it in one! Glad you made it back in one piece, I was getting worried there.Laura - Snow is soft and fluffy and warm like cotton wool. And it tastes like cotton candy. Yum!BOSSY - Aw, fanx! *blushes*John - You noticed? Well done that man!Ché - I forgot to paint out the lampshade on the second lantern. So sue me.
I tried to comment on this last night, but I was stuck in the town of Truckee in the Sierra Nevada Mountains because I went up there for a meeting and they closed Interstate 80 due to accidents and snow and the only internet access I had was my BlackBerry, because, even though the motel I stayed in had internet access, I didn't take my computer because I wasn't supposed to be there overnight, and apparently I can read blogs (sort of), but not comment on them with it, so I couldn't comment on yours *deep breath*Nice photos! Very Artsy Fartsy.
I can't stand on my head. Could you do it for me? And I've only got one eye.'So sue me' Is this another blog of yours Farty? http://mrssatan.blogspot.com/2005/07/soooeysoooeysoooey.htmlBrought tears to my eyes.
Scotchland is pretty.
Ahhh.....that was so relaxing! I love looking at snowy scenes.
A lamp post in the middle of nowhere? I didn't realise Embra was in Narnia.
Laurie - I can't comment on Blogger from my moby either. It's far more frustrating than being snowed in. I expect.IBM - Never heard of him.Sew - Embra is the prettiest place in the world. I'd like to live there.Jacki - Me too.Z - We even have our own lion and everything, dead exciting!
Oooooh. That's masterful work with a camera phone. I'm a very intelligent woman but a big freaking 'tard with a camera. DAMMIT.What a beautiful place you live in.
Lesley - Half the skill lies in taking hundreds of photos and discarding the 99% that are crap. The other half is PaintShopPro.
It's nice that you're able to get (pictures of) so much wood in such cold weather.
BC - Did you mean I Got Wood?
