In The Right Place, At The Right Time

Scotch Monument

The Scotch Monument

Spotted this on my way home from work today and thought I'd share it. No, it's not in recognition of our other1 national drink, but to that grate author, Sir Walter Scotch.

You may have heard of some of his books: I've a Hoe, Rob Roy (or Wob Woy as Jonathon Woss calls him), The Lay-Dee in The Loch, Waverley Station, Heart of Midlothian FC and The Bride of Frankenstein Lammermoor.

Right. Seems I've got some blogs to catch up on after Friday's little "incident" (see comments in previous post).

Toot toot!

1 The first one being Barr's Irn Bru, made in Scotchland from girders.

I swear to God I didn't understand a word of this post.

And that's why I love you.

BC - I really should have labelled that picture. <clicky> Done.
I just thought this was a great photo-opportunity.

VM - You're very welcome!

That Irn Bru must make you really gassy, to allow you to fly all over Scotchland like that...

All I can say is that I'd hate to fall on that roof...

Debi - I'll take that as a pair of compliments!

VE - Ouch!

Blast off?!

Brom - I once bought an LP purely on the basis that the album cover unfolded to reveal that the church on the front cover became a spaceship taking off. Buggered if I can even remember what it was called, sigh. The music wasn't great.
