Cat - This was the third time I'd seen him and the first with the camera, so I wasn't going to miss my chance again. He looks amazing in flight.
Yes, great pics. He's a Heron isn't he? Especially as you comment about how impressive he looks in flight.
Brom - I think so too. Mind, I'm rubbish at ornithology: the binoculars are mainly for perving through bathroom windows.
