Snow, Snow, Thick Thick Snow

As the title of this blog says, it's better oot than in. So on New Year's Day I took my brand new camera out for it's first field test. The only processing I've done on these is cropping a couple to size. Click to embiggen and feel free to use as wallpaper etc. as long as it's not for commercial purposes.

Very nice photos! We have the cold (12F), but no snow to go with it.

#Debi - I don't think we've ever had it that cold. Shame about the lack of snow though. Happy New Year!

Lovely photos. They made me homesick.

John - Thanks. Your garden photos are better though.

Nice pics. So what camera did ya get then?

Thank you kindly, Sir B! It's a Fuji S1500 and very nice it is too. The pic of the Forth Road Bridge is at maximum (12x) optical zoom with no tripod and there's negligible camera shake. Next stop, the next-door neighbour showering. Even if he is a bit hairy.
