  4. Brom - Thank you kindly, sir. Embra is still my fave place, but the Canada comes close.

John - Brilliant camera/software. The first sunset photo was one of many taken from the back window of a speeding truck on a busy road. I deleted several that showed just blur, or black. The second sunset has been edited to remove a caravan from the lower right corner. And a couple of waterlines have been straightened to stop the boats from sliding downhill.

Cat - I'll assume you haven't yet read THIS POST. Or perhaps the PMT has addled your brains.

Addled. Don't think I've ever used that word before.

    Girlie - It was excellent.

  6. Thank you again Mr Farty. You've taken some wonderful photos of my back yard. And I appreciate the nice things you've written about your Canadian adventure.

  7. I am thinking I may just purloin a few of those to use for "wallpaper" on the work computer where I have to be a bit judicious on what I use for "wallpaper".

(NO! My home computer does NOT have porn for wallpaper! It has rude sayings, however...)

  8. Ladies, feel free to take what you like. Unless you work for the Canadian Tourist Board, in which case a tidy commission would be in order...ker-ching!

  9. Where was I? Oh yes. These pictures are all scaled down and subject to copyright. You may copy them for personal use only.

If you ask nicely, I'll email you the original full-scale version of any one.

  10. Wow, Canada. All that and no George Bush. (Bossy sighs.)

  11. George doesn't live here in Canada, and seldom visits, but he sure as hell has a lot of influence. We are very affected by whatever happens in the States, and by American policies.

I guess when the population of the US is ten times the population of Canada or more, we are like a pimple on their butt.

We've had our spats but I think overall we're pretty good neighbours with no fence between the yards yet, and hopefully never.

  12. Bossy/Babzy - Canada has its share of fuckwits, but luckily we only met the one - see part 3 for details.

I've added a bonus picture just above the wooden eagle, er, because I can. Enjoy.
