  1. I wasn't the biggest Michael Jackson fan, but there's a memory of my childhood that I love: saturday afternoons watching the Jackson Five cartoons on the TV. And the song 'ABC'. He was cute as a little boy.

  3. The back of my head can be seen in Michael Jackson's Moonwalker movie/video thing. My role in it was to "pretend to be grabbing at his legs while he performed onstage." Which was just as Totally Completely Interesting as it sounds. But I did get to play with his monkey Bubbles afterward. And no, that is not a euphemism.

    John - Hard to disagree.

Umwhat - No.Fucking.Way. That makes you famous! But can you handle stardom?

  7. Part of me has always felt sorry for Wacko Jacko. Obviously something was VERY VERY VERY amiss during his childhood.

He was a talented singer. Although I've often wondered if Joe did a little "something" before puberty to keep his voice so girlishly high. Which would certainly excuse quite a lot of the eccentricity - although not all.

OTOH, I am enjoying the really tasteless jokes.

  8. Sew - To address all of your points: Who thought it would be a good idea to put his kids in the care of the people who raised MJ?
