Broomview House, Edinburgh, was demolished today. Little Miss Farty used to live there.

    #Debi - I know, I know: that second tower block is just a few yards away and yet all the windows are intact. I want to be a demolition man when I grow up.

    BOSSY - The council sent out warning leaflets telling us to close all doors and windows, so we did. Then as soon as it became apparent that we were half-a-mile upwind of the blast, Mrs Farty opened them all again.
    Today: "I can't believe there's so much dust over all the furniture!" Doh!
