  2. #1: Fanfare for the Common Man

    #2: Dunno, but the violets are pretty

    #3: You were always on my mind - willie nelson?

    #4: I don't know any songs about having one's panties in a knot..

    #5 I fail. And there I'd done so well with the nameless horse a while back. *weeping*

  3. Sew - Try taking all the pictures together as a group. And it's not panties, that's just your pervy mind!

  6. Dear Mr. Farty....
    "Forgotten about this post"?? Oh, my luv, no.no.no...quite the opposite...it has permanently camped in my brain and dammit, is not leaving soon, me thinks.
    WTH? As we don't know each other very well (she said shyly)...I feel as if I am standing in the middle of the station trying to figure out which train you are on!!
    The beers didn't help...give a girl a break...another clue, perhaps (song title? quote? random thought?)...the answer would be great!!
    ta muchly,
    LolaD...admitting she's stumped, yet still very much intrigued.

  7. Lola - Here's a for example - there are plenty more though.

    This one seems to be going down like a lead balloon, think I'll have to come up with a different idea...

  8. Are you sure this is a song? I think it is highlights from a date. A guy and a girl go on a date, they take a walk in the city, he gets her some flowers, they have sex, it was great, and he marks it on the calendar because it was the first time he had sex with someone else in 2 years.

  9. Ooh, my favourite bit of the week, even if it's not Friday anymore.

    First up - "Mouldy Old Dough" by Lieutenant Pigeon - easy

    Then "Lavender Blue Dilly Dilly" by Silmarillion

    Hurrah! At last - Revolting Cocks - "(Let's Get) Physical" - I knew you'd cave

    Hmm, not sure - either Cockney Rejects - "I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles" or Chas'n'Dave - "The Sideboard Song"

    Ah, so you too will be trying to evade Her Majestys Police Force on 25th July, to get with sniffing distance of the sainted Girls Aloud. You'd think the restraining order would be enough, without them resorting to playing an actual castle, with soldiers and everything. My reputation obviously precedes me. Probably "Crocodile Tears" then;

    Stop!
    You live under
    I feel,
    as if it's under
    We've gotta;
    stop!
    Before we crumble
    We better stop
    Before we tumble

    That was fun. See you with the binoculars and the camouflage next month.

  10. Jacki - I like your thinking. But still wrong.

    H - Girls Aloud? Who said anything about Girls Aloud?

    Oh, that Girls Aloud. Right, see you there then. I'll be the one in the dirty mac with my hands in my pockets. Like that's going to narrow it down.

    Anybody? No?

    *Sigh*

    Always Something There To Remind Me About The Girls Aloud Concert at Embra Castle on July 25th - Sandy Shaw.

    Sometimes I despair.
